WHO HAS THE BEST PIZZA?? CHICAGO OR NEW YORK?

It's FRIDAY!!!! And what better way to enjoy the weekend then to hit up your FAVORITE local pizza joint! Joy & myself like Reginelli's Pizzeria. The pizza shop is local favorite down in New Orleans, and if you could taste it you would see why!

Doesn't this look delicious!

Now the two top cities who claim to have the best pizza are Chicago & New York. So what do you think? New York's thin crust? Or Chicago's deep dish? Or do you think it's you local favorite spot that has the best pizza?!! We might have to take a trip just to see for ourselves!

Happy Friday! Happy Blogging! Thank God for Pizza

Oh my goodness! I lived in New Orleans for 5 years and I totally know what you're talking about :) Love that place!

But I'm born and raised in Chicago and live there again now, however I still prefer NY style pizza over deep dish. Just the way it is. Although some Chicago people might give me dirty looks for saying that! Now I'm getting hungry...

I am starving so I figured this would be the perfect post! Well if you prefer your crust to be thin & crispy like a cracker (as someone put it) then so be it! lol.

In Miami, there really isn't any Pizza shops that are worth mentioning. However, I was watching an episode from Man Vs Food and the host went to Colorado and had a deep dish pizza that was to die for. Thin crust is cool, but if you want all the greasy goodness then why not drive deep in?

YUM! I can't decide which I love more - thin crust or deep dish. I've never had authentic Chicago or NY pizza - how sad!

First off, I'm totally spoiled because I worked for a few years at a Neapolitan style pizzeria here in Minneapolis founded by a man who grew up in Italy and used the woodfired pizza technique he learned there.

Punch Pizza, try it if you come here.

Second, For sure I'm team NY. Deep dish grosses me out. I had a great pie at Lombardi's in New York, but haven't tried others... yet...

Mmmm I think it's dinner time now!

Having never been to Chicago, I'd have to say New York pizza...especially, John's Pizza near Times Square. The crust is so crispy and the pizza is cooked in front of you and baked in a brick oven...yummy!
