Dusit Thani Dubai

Jetsetting Diva Tiffanie recently went on a trip to Dubai and stayed at the Dusit Thani Dubai. Read on for her review and pics of the hotel!

First Impression
Dubai is known for its marvelous and breathtaking architecture; so one could only imagine how the hotel accomodatiosn would be. Let's just say, the Dusit Thani did not disappoint. Upon arriving to the hotel, you are met with this giant structure that looks like a giant fork in the road! The height of the hotel was far to great for an amateur photographer like myself. I knew that once I walked through the doors, greatness would await me!

Lobby Area
Once in the lobby, you are greated by a beautfil fresh aroma that permiates throughout the hotel. There is a beautiful staircase in the center of the lobby. There is a seated woman playing harmonies on musical instrument dressed in traditional Thai garments. The staff were welcoming, pleasanat and helpful! There is a very nice gift shop if for souvenirs as well as a bakery and a hidden bar! Yes, the bar is behind a hidden door that resemebles a bookcase...pretty cool!

Room
Our room was amazing! It was like living in a lap of luxury for a few days. It was a two bedroom 2 bathroom suite. Fully equipped with a kitchen, dining area, living area master ensuite...yes the whole 9! There was complimentary water and tea/coffee. There were robes and slippers for the 3 of us and tvs in each room. The best part- we had a gorgeous view of the tallest building, Burj Khalifa! Just imagine waking up to that view every morning. It was truly home away from home.

Area
The Dusit Thani is really perfectly situated. Located on Sheikh Zayed road, there were plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars withinin walking distance. The metro was a 5 minute walk-and from there your destinations were plentiful. We took a cab to the Dubai Mall and that ride was about 5-10 minute drive. Very good central location.

View of the Burj Khalifa from our room!

Overall
I loved this hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai-solo or as a group. They really treat you like royalty which adds value to the cost of stay!
